Abimbola Writes

I was recently telling a friend how I believe I have slept enough in past years to last me a life time.

I have been called many names due to my sleeping habits.

In the uni, I had people who called me sleepers, this was due to the fact that I slept through a robbery attack in my hostel.

While sleep is a good thing as it was created by God for us to replenish lost strength, and there is only one person who does not sleep and that person is God, and even though we are at liberty to sleep, but some of us know that the amount of sleep we give ourselves to are anything but God-honouring.

The challenge with sleeping too much is that it hinders you from doing other productive things as you would have spent all the hours in cloud 9.

There is only an amount of sleep that your body needs to function per time, and once it reaches that threshold, every other sleep is just one where you'll wake up feeling tired from.

Excessive sleeping is responsible for so many things, it is the reason why some have failed to meet deadlines at work, failed major examinations, no longer have a relationship with God and the list continues.

So, let's go ahead to practical tips to help you stop sleeping too much.

1. Have A Reason To Wake Up Early

As a person, I have realized over time that I tend to indulge in more sleep when I don't have a solid reason to get me up from my sleep.

The reason you might also be sleeping too much is because you don't have a concrete reason to get you up from the bed.

If this is you, everyday, before you sleep, have the things you'd love to accomplish the next day clearly written down, after which you can then sleep.

You'd be surprised that the next day, when your body is craving for some extra sleep after it had gotten the amount of rest it needs to function, you'll be able to jump off the bed and get started at the things you should do.

2. Set Alarms

For as long as I can remember, my father's alarm clock is on 5:25am and that's the time he wakes us up for devotion every morning.

The beauty of all these automated gadgets is that, irrespective of how tired you are the previous night and how unwilling you are from standing up from your bed, it will still keep ringing and it will then be left to you if you will hearken to its call or not.

If you are a deep sleeper, another tip that can help you in your goal of waking up on time is to have your alarm clock or phone a little distance from you so when the alarm rings, or won't stop ringing, you then have to stand up to get it. Most often than not, just that standing alone is enough to have sleep take flight.

3. Have A Friend Wake You Up

Do you have a friend who isn't a deep sleeper like you?

Then you might want to consider soliciting that this friend help you in this area.

If you live alone, this friend may be take the role of your alarm clock by making sure you pick the call and you're off the bed before cutting the call.

Ask that friend who have no issues with waking up on time.

What are friends for anyway if not to strengthen us where we are weak.

4. Put Scriptures In Strategic Places As Well As On Your Phone

Scriptures are very relatable to every aspect of life.

There are various Scriptures that addresses the issue of excessive sleep, and you might consider reading and meditating on some of them until you become one with those scriptures and they begin to influence you.

I know there are others who are struggling with excess sleepyhead, you might consider putting this scriptures at places you can see them so that they can serve as constant reminders for you.

One of it is;

Proverbs 6:9-11 (TPT)

So wake up, sleepyhead. How long will you lie there?

When will you wake up and get out of bed?
We
If you keep nodding off and thinking, "I'll do it later,' or say to yourself, I'll just stop back awhile and take it easy," just watch how the future unfolds!

By making excuses you'll learn what it means to go without. Poverty will pounce on you like a bandit and move in as your roommate for life.

Check out that scripture in other translations, it should help you keep your eyes wide open.

5. Check What You Eat And  The Time You Take Your Meals In The Night

One reason you might find it difficult getting off from your bed might be due to the fact that you eat heavy meals late at night.

The best time to eat dinner is 6-8pm in the night, and while there are times you might still be on the road at that time, but make sure your meals aren't too heavy if you intend waking up in good time.

6. Have A Day To Indulge In An extra Time Of Sleep

This is called rewarding yourself.

If you have been able to successfully keep to your waking time overtime, your body deserves a thank you for a doing a good job and you might want to say the thank you by resting an hour or extra during weekend or
doing one thing that is definetly going  to make you feel good.

The goal is not to make you sleep deprived but to make sure you don't spend all your God-given life on the bed.

7. Talk to God About It

Yes, do this.

It works.

The Father is interested in every aspect of our lives, and there is a lot excessive sleep might do to hinder the things the Father may have us do.

Include it into your prayers.

Ask the Lord to wake you up, you might end up pleasantly surprised by the result.

Life is all about discipline, when it's all been said and done here on earth, we will all be resting in eternity with Jesus, so start doing what must be done now, and don't allow too much of sleep hinder it.

What other tips do you employ to wake up early?

Good old memories of running from one lecture theatre to the other, sitting in a hall that had over 100 students with one man standing in front trying to speak over the noise.

If you are still in the higher institute of learning, it is a lovely and wonderful phase, but as you progress in the years, the lectures, assignments, projects and all can become a little overwhelming and you can’t just wait to get out of the school to join those with the 9-5 job community or to start your own business.

Most often than not, undergraduates can’t just wait to get out of the restraint that they feel the school is putting on their life and destiny.

I felt that way too.

I remember when my final year second-semester examination time-table came out, it was exciting for me because it signaled the last papers I was to write in school and hence my exit from school. I wrote down the number of days I had left before I signed out (you sign out of school the day you write your final exam) in a book, so at the end of every day, I’ll tick off a particular date.

I was that dramatic.

This is not to say I didn’t have an amazing time on campus, but it was just me looking forward to life outside the four walls of my Uni.

The day I wrote my final paper still remains fresh in my heart, I had read over the night, and at some point, I couldn’t even assimilate anything again as I was just too excited. I got into the hall and wrote the little I could and came out.

Phew!

It was like a load has legit been lifted off my shoulders. I took pictures, signed on colleagues' white t-shirt, and had others signed on mine too. After the whole merriment on campus, I left for my campus fellowship auditorium which has been home to me all through the four years I spent on campus.

I got into the hall and went beside the altar. I knelt down and began to pray. I had known that day was going to come before that time, but finally writing my last paper made it clearer to me. I was officially done with school now, so what’s next?

I cried, prayed, and reminded myself of God’s promises and reminded God of His promises too. I prayed till I didn’t have any burden in my heart and then I stood up and the merriment continued as there were people outside the auditorium waiting to sign on my t-shirt.

The second day came and there was no school to go to. It was just the final year project that kept me in school for a while. At the end of it all, I went home a university graduate.

So, What Are Those Things They Didn’t Tell Us About  Life After School?

Life In School Is Theory, Life After School Is Practical

Some people are of the opinion that life doesn’t start until they have a degree in hand and finally leave school before they start living life, but that is not true.

I have been out of school for about four years now, and I can say that the life I now live now is an extension of the life I was living on campus. Forget the myth that it is until you come out of school before your life fully starts, while that can be correct, but it is only correct to a point.

Your life in school serves as a preparation for the kind of life you will start living when you are out.

Better put, Life in school in a rehearsal, Life after school is when you begin to perform the script you have spent four years of your life rehearsing. It is just like when a movie director shouts Action! Life after school is the action part.

Study the scripts well while in school so that you can perform excellently when it is showtime.

Grades Do Matter And They Don’t

I know that statement contradicts themselves but that is just the truth of the matter.

You are in school to learn how to solve life problems and at the end of every semester, an exam time-table comes out to test your ability on how well you understood the topics/courses that you took in that semester.

While the results are not ultimately the true judge of our academic prowess, but if you intend working with your certificate, this might be a good time to begin working on those grades well as they are what your prospective employer will see before inviting you to an interview.

You are in school now, so do it well. Remember that whatever is what doing at all is what doing well.

Be also aware that you might study a particular course in school and life after school might have you working in an entirely different environment than the one you thought your department in school will fit you in. So be vast even as touching things that are not entirely related to your field.

You wouldn’t be so happy with yourself when you lose your chance in a Multi-national company because of the grade on your certificate.

Let no one deceive you, if your dream is to work in these multi-nationals, it will happen. Be careful of giving ears to people who say there are no jobs outside, that is not your own reality! If you desire to work in an organization, God will make it possible!

It Takes More Discipline To Change Things After School Than In School

If there is any progress you desire to see in your life over the period of your stay here on earth, then the school is a great place to begin to lay the foundation because once you come out, it is another ball game entirely.

I once heard this from a man, 'even if you do not know the direction you are headed, make sure you know the direction you’ll never head to'.

While life is a journey and you might not be able to say 100% of the time what lies ahead, remember that God still is in the business of blowing our minds beyond what we ever thought was possible, but still, you have the ability to begin to take active steps towards the future you desire to see.

If you are struggling with procrastination for example, and you do not deal with it in school when it is just lectures, fellowship’s activities and probably departmental engagements that you have your hand into, how then do you expect to deal with it on your job when you are on a deadline at work, and still have other legitimate requests seeking for your attention?

Or if you find it difficult to manage your finances as a young undergraduate, what happens when you finally come out of school, and no money is coming from both Dad and Mom, and as God will have it, your first job is quite far from home, how do you intend to survive on an income you haven’t disciplined yourself to manage before now?

While I am not saying that we will only become a better version of only the things we have done  while in school as there are people who were passionate about a cause in school and goes in another direction after school, but the life in school and the discipline learned will never be taken from you and you can also multiply it in another assignment that is placed in your hands after school.

Let's consider Esther.

Esther was selling bags in school, she might have been passionate about that on campus, but after school, if she no longer sells bags but goes into real estate, the life principles she had gotten overtime while selling bags will still come in handy for her.

Make a list of the things you are struggling with as an undergraduate that you haven’t successfully dealt with, and then start working on it.

After School, You Are On Your Own

Nobody told us this.

Or probably they told us but we just thought they were playing.

I remember when I was in school, my parents are very responsible so they did a good job in providing for my needs back in school, I remember at the time I was graduating, I don’t think I have ever bought recharge card with my money for more than five times all my life prior to life after school. My Dad and one of my big mummies did a good in making sure my phone had airtime.

Fast forward to when I graduated, it just seemed like I have now officially become an adult as the parents who were always obeying my every whim started telling me no when I asked them for things. It was worse when I came back from NYSC. They kept providing shelter and good food for me, but beyond that, I was just on my own o.

Thank God some months after I came back from NYSC I was able to get a job.

I’ll share how I was able to get stay sane before I got my first job soon.

So, life after school isn’t the same as life in school, the parents supplying your every demand might start saying no, and even if they don’t, they have done enough for you and now is the time to start acting responsibly too.

So in all you do, start thinking about the life that awaits you after your 4-7 years course.

Build A Life Outside Your Academics

It is a great vision to want to come out with a very good degree out of school because whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well, but in the Life After School, you will need more than just the grade, they will need how good you are at working effectively with other members of a team.

Life doesn’t just revolve around your Microbiology or Accounting course, there is a lot to life and living than MCB 301.

Do your best to attend seminars, go for meetings, go out with friends, host friends in your room on campus, and the list continues.

Schedule time to do this, read when you should, and have your share of fun when you should too.

Don’t have just an academic life, have a Whole life!

If you are still in school, enjoy your time before you come into Life After School and start paying bills.

I am rooting for you!

There is light on your path!

Disclaimer: Don’t worry, this is no spoiler if you haven’t seen the movie. It will only create a thirst for you to go see it.

I finally watched Overcomer by Kendrick brothers.

Phew!

I sincerely think it is a film everyone should watch.

Kendrick brothers are the same producers who produced the epic faith-based film called “War Room”.

I have heard so much about the Overcomer, and after some time I just suddenly took my mind off it especially when I searched on YouTube for it without any success.

Anyways, some weeks back, I asked a senior colleague who had subscription on Netflix App to allow me watch the movie on her phone, as I was watching it, I later asked her to let us download it since it wasn’t looking visible for me to finish watching the over two hours movie before the close of work, as she was downloading it, another senior colleague of mine came around and told me there was a particular website I could download, we started downloading it, and after it got downloaded and it was finally time for me to play it just kept showing black.

I couldn’t even cry.

I didn’t have success with downloading it and I didn’t finish watching it, so I was just stuck.

I left the office for home that day, when I got home, another colleague of mine that I had told about my interest in watching that film suddenly called me that she had Overcomer on her laptop. I couldn’t believe my ears. I asked questions to be sure we are talking about the same film.

After she answered in the affirmative, I couldn’t wait for the next day to come.

When I got to work the following day, she came straight to my office with her laptop and I copied it with my flash and excitedly looked forward to going home to watch it on my laptop.

Long story cut short, I got home earlier than scheduled, I ate my food and I switched on my laptop.

Seeing the intro playing on my laptop sent shivers through my body.

I had different reactions while seeing the movie.

I laughed.

I cried (Read wailed)

I got up from the almost two-hours movie with a resolve never to stop following after Jesus.

The choice of songs was so superb.

You Say by Lauren Diagle, you can listen to it Here

Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship, you can listen to it Here

Lessons I Learnt

1.       1.  People Change

While I have learned over time that no one can do the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of another person, but this movie made it become more real to me that the Holy Spirit can do His work in the life of people, and when He does, he usually does a spectacular job in the life of people. It will then be left to us to believe His work in their life or not.

Thomas Hill; Hannah Scott’s father is an example of this.

Imagine a man who once impregnated a lady, ran away from her when she gave birth without ever looking back, and then several years down the line becomes a child of God.

So refreshing.

2.       2.  Being A Virtuous Woman Is Also About Keeping Quiet

Wisdom isn't only perceived in the words we say, it can only be known through our decision to keep quiet in the face of a heated argument.

I particularly loved how John & Amy solved their disagreement after John had a pay-cut at work.

Such a level of maturity.

Amy sure did a good job there.

3.       3.  Only Christ Should Define You

When the lead actor; John Harrison lost his job and then by God-incidence met with Thomas Hill in the hospital, he was asked the question of identity.

I think this is one question everyone at one point or the other should answer.

If someone were to ask you, Who Are You, What will be your response?

Will your response be solely based on the things you do, the great singer you are, the MD/CEO of a business that you built through thick and thin, the wonderful title of being a wife or a husband, or your lucrative job, or the great minister that you are?

What happens when those particular things that define you are stripped away?

Why not take the definition of yourself from someone who will never die, who has been, is, and will ever be.

Let your greatest sense of identity be in Christ, all other things can leave, the job, the ministry, the applauds from men, the children, the spouse, but only in God will remain.

When you find your identity in the One who created you, it changes your perspective on everything.

4.       4.  Your Support Of Your Husband Isn’t Only Church-Based

Most faith-based films I have watched over the years have always had the main character in church ministry or something that had God clearly written on it, and the woman also acts a virtuous minister’s wife or the wife of the senior pastor. But this film brings a twist to it by modeling how wives can give support to their husbands who are not into full-fledged ministry.

While some people will be called into expressions that have God explicitly written on it, others will have a calling that doesn’t have God written boldly on it. So, it becomes the responsibility of the significant other to still model what a Godly partner should look like in that dimension.

5.       5.  We Are An Overcomer In Christ

Yes.

This is our reality, and no matter what it is that is against us, God is for us and we will win!

We always win.

Regardless of how your background might look like or what might have happened in times past, once you step into Christ, you are destined to win.

6.     6.  God Is With You Every step of the way.

How Thomas Hill was able to coach Hannah during the state cross-country shows that God is with his children every step of the way.

He loves us, and He wants the best for us.

And if we can only live life on his terms and follow all his instructions, do the things he tells us to do per time per season, then we will definitely emerge a winner at the end of our race here on earth.

This movie is so great that I even had to watch it for a second time for it to sink in.

It is indeed a must watch for everyone.

You’re An Overcomer!

Have you seen the Overcomer Movie? How was it, do share the lessons.

Proverbs 4:23

Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issue of life.

Another version says,

Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.

The heart is a very precious organ that is responsible for supplying blood to other parts of the body, and a whole lot can go wrong when the heart suddenly decides to take a break or if something suddenly goes wrong with it, it can lead to paralysis or even death.

What does it mean to guard something?

To guard something means that the thing being guarded is very important and considered to be valuable.

It was in time past that people put their valuables especially money at home, but in today’s world, there are so many establishments that gives the promise of giving security to our money and other things we consider important when we decide to do business with them.

If we are told to guard our heart above everything, it shows that it must be as important or even more important than those things we take to the bank for safe-keeping.

Just like no one put materials that are considered valuable on display or at a place where people can easily access it or where it can easily be trampled upon or stolen, why then do people care less about their heart which is one of those things the bible tells us to guard?

The bible speaking says we should be careful of throwing our pearls to the pig, lest they trample upon it and they turn back and fight the owner. Your heart is that precious too or even more precious than the most expensive diamond.

Your heart is a very precious organ and just like you can’t deliberately watch a person coming with a knife pointed at your chest and just keep laughing especially if that person is a stranger and he has a deadly look in his eyes.

It is very important because the quality of life you live depends on the kind of thoughts you allow in your heart.

Life doesn’t just start from characters we exhibit per time. It stats from the heart (thoughts)

I learned an acronym a long time ago about how characters are formed.

T-A-H-C

T- Thoughts

A – Actions

H – Habits

C – Character

Character doesn’t just get developed, it all comes from the things we have allowed settled in our minds over time.

And it is the things we feed our heart with that will definitely begin to think about overtime.

So, Guard your heart.

How Then Do You Guard Your Heart?

1.      1   Watch The Songs  And Videos You Listen To

There are so many artists and movie producers  in our world today with them releasing an album or videos every other day, while they have the capacity of churning out content, you have the choice on the kind of songs and videos you listen to.

While you might not be able to control the kind of songs that others play, probably when you are on the bus, at work, in a public place, but you very well can control the kind of songs and videos on your phones and laptops. YouTube also does this, it recognizes the kind of person you are, after a while of using that platform, it begins to bring suggestions of YouTube mix for you based on the videos you have listened to overtime.

Songs and videos are so important, there are some you’ll listen to or watch them and you would literally feel like God is wrapping you in His hands, and there are others that you’ll listen to that leaves you with the feeling of grabbing the next girl or guy for a showdown or just taking your own life.

To guard your heart, watch the songs and films you consume.

2.      2    Be Careful Of The Books You Read

Books, Books, Books.

Recently, I shared my journey with reading romance novels, you can click here if you missed it.

Books are important, they grant you access into traveling to places, you have never been in the flesh.

And those places can be a good place or a bad place, depending on the book you are reading.

You can’t be on a mission to guard your heart against lustful thoughts and be a person of worth when you are constantly reading magazines and books that feed your mind on bedroom activities or just books that aren’t adding any significant value to your life.

So to guard your heart, be careful of the content you expose your heart to.

3.      3   Be Mindful Of The News You Listen To

In guarding your heart, the news you give yourself to hearing over time will go in no small way in affecting your heart and ultimately shape your mindset and ultimately your lifestyle.

There is certain news you should guard your heart against.

Know the kind of news that is capable of making you be in a bad place and deliberately begin to guard against them. For some, just coming online to read the news of what is going on all over the world is enough to make them lose the zeal they need to accomplish their tasks that day.

You are a young person who is looking forward to getting married, but the kind of news or statistics that you are fond of listening or following is that of how many wives have killed their husbands in the last five months or how many husbands have poured acid on the face of their wives in the last one year.

While it is a good thing to stay abreast of what is going on in the world at large, but there are certain news that you should keep your heart guarded against, especially when you know you aren’t so strong in that aspect.

Someone who grew up in an abusive home and has now given his life to Christ have no business watching those kinds of news, they’ll keep building doubt and fear in your heart which is the opposite of what is your reality in Christ.

Someone who keeps listening to this will soon start doubting if there are still good women around, a person like that will soon start looking at her husband as a man who isn’t just right.

Be careful of what you listen to, so they don’t become your reality.

Whose report will you choose to believe?

4.      4    Be Careful Of Your Association

There are certain people whose words have the ability of sending you towards depression.

There are some people who will just open their mouths and spew out words without giving thoughts on how those words of theirs will affect the person hearing it. if you have such a person around you, you might have to start minimizing the time you spend around such people until you are in a much better place where what they say or don’t say won’t affect you adversely.

There are certain people who in their presence, you’ll suddenly realize that you are getting sad as there are fond of saying demeaning words to you.

These are people you should be careful of, you don’t have to call such people every day, if there are your colleagues at work, you can decide to stay clear of them for a while until you are in a better place mentally and you are able to hear their words and then it no longer affects you.

And if these people are not those you can outrightly stay clear off, then when they are talking, mentally bring a shield up in your mind through which you can shield yourself against any hurt their words can cause.

All these are a great determinant of the kind of thoughts that will ultimately run through your heart.

Your heart is very important.

Don’t let anything mess up with it.

Remember, as a man thinks in his heart, so he is.

Today's blog post is to get you familiarized with the face behind this blog.

While there are various parts and experiences of my life scattered all over the blog, read on as I share some other facts with you.

1.   I am a twin

You know those people whose mother gave birth to two children on the same day with minutes or hours interval, I belong to those people.

I have a twin double.

Mine is a non-identical case, so my twin sister and I don’t look so alike. Her picture is on this post here.

 2.  I am both the first and the last born

My family is a very small one where it is just my Dad, Mom, and Twin sis and I.

I am both the first and the last child of the house and same goes for her.

 3.  My Mom Is A Twin

Yes, you read that right, I am a twin and my biological mother is one too.

While I have a female double, my mom’s double is a male.

So if you want to give birth to twins, you know what to do abi (smiles)

It’s so interesting watching my mom’s twin brother call her his younger sister and my mom also calling him her younger brother. If you have a twin friend or family member, you’ll be very familiar with this game twins play.

4. I Can Trek For Africa

I sincerely think I can win an award for marathon walk in Nigeria or in Africa.

I love been on my feet, although not every time but for most of the time.

This is one of the reasons prayer walks are still one of the ways I pray for long.

I am sure some people in the sixties and seventies haven’t trekked the number of miles I have trekked within my short time on earth.

I used to joke with some of my friends that I think I have trekked enough for all my children and grand-children unborn. While this is purely a joke, I think it holds some form of truth considering the distance I have trekked in life.

I look forward to my prayers having such an impact on my generations unborn too.

5. I Have Never Tasted Sharwama

Shawarma is like the next snack everybody eats and it is only funny that I have never tasted it.

I remember on my way from work one day, a particular shawarma vendor was trying to get me to buy what he was selling and he was telling me to come and buy shawarma from him because his shawarma is very hot. In my mind I was just laughing because either shawarma is supposed to be hot or hold, I have never tasted it. Pizza falls into this category of edibles I have never tasted too.

6. I Love Amala and Abula

My love for that meal ehn.

Amala and Abula is a meal peculiar to a certain tribe here in Nigeria but I am certain I love this meal even more than those who are from that state.

I didn't grow up in the village o, my love for that meal came to be as a result of the home I grew up in. In my home, if we haven't eaten swallow also known as okele in a day, the day wasn't complete.

So, that was the life I was used to.

I didn't even realize I loved eating Amala that much until I gained admission into the University and at some point my hallmates and I started to be cooking together.

I was always clamoring that we eat swallow while they wanted something else.

It became obvious that I was a special breed when on one of my sick days, a friend decided to take me out and of all the available meal, the one I choose was Amala.

My flatmates wouldn't let me have a breath of fresh air when I told them.

As I grew older, I found that when Abula is combined with Amala, it can create a wonderful memory for you.

There is a certain level of love and admiration for God that I feel whenever I taste that meal especially if I have not eaten it in a while. White rice and ata-dindin (fried stew) falls in this group too.

7. I Love  Reading

Way before it became popular that reading was an avenue through which you can develop yourself, I have loved reading.

I shared my journey with books in a recent post which you can check out here.

I still feel a sort of excitement when I go to bookshops that sells the kind of books I read.

My favorite authors are Elizabeth Elliot, Francine Rivers, Ife-grace Dada, T.D Jakes, Lisa Bevere, Taiwo Iredele Odubiyi. I have been tremendously blessed reading books by these ones and a host of others. I’d do a review of great books I have read very soon.

8. I Studied Microbiology In The University

This is quite contrary to what someone coming to the blog for the first time might have, but the fact remains that I don’t have an English background, I studied a science-related course in the Uni.

It is a course where you get all familiar with different microbes and their names and functions in human life amidst other things.

I might still explore the mass media world in years to come, but I rest in the assurance that at this stage of my life, God has all things figured out.

9. I Love Prayer Walk

My love for prayer walk is not from here.

While there have been times in the times in the past when I haven't been so consistent, but it is one of the disciplines the Lord is teaching me in this season of my life.

I love the energy that comes from praying at the top of my voice with no one eavesdropping on my conversation with God.

10. I Was Really Spanked As A Child

Yes, I was the stubborn one.

My twin sister is the definition of cool, calm and collected while I was just the exact opposite.

There was a time that no week ever went by without being flogged.

I used to envy those children I saw on television who had the luxury of calling 911. I live here in Nigeria where we don’t have that luxury

I remember those days of wishing I could just faint or something should just happen to me so that my mom can regret beating me. But nothing like that ever happened as she was always declaring that she got me (us) from God so nothing could ever go wrong with me.

My mom would be beating me while praying and pleading the blood of Jesus over me. I need to know I am not the only person with a mom like this. Biko signify if your mom and mine are in the same WhatsApp group.

Thank God, we no longer get flogged.

We haff grow.

… And the extra one…

I Love Disturbing My Dad.

I really love doing this.

My friends are fond of telling me to enjoy it while it lasts before they bring yam to take me away from him and I don't even get to see him talk less of disturbing him.

Everyone should just leave me alone, shebi it is my hobby not theirs.

That’s a little about me for now.

What is the new thing I shared that you didn’t know about me?

What will you like to know about me?

I look forward to reading your comments.
